Moni van Rheinberg was born 1952 in Salzgitter and died 2006 in Essen. She was brought up in Cologne and Wesel and was educated as architectural draftsman. In the 1970s she studied at „Folkwang Universität der Künste“ where she graduated 1978. Her focus was painting with various materials and techniques. Her multifaceted work as artist includes besides painting, graphics, sculpturing, wallpainting, art in public space and installation. She has been involved in several projects to design facades of public buildings.
