BILMO DE BACHATA is a street artist based somewhere in nowhere between Düsseldorf and Cologne. The majority of his pieces I have found in Düsseldorf since 2017, when he appeared on my radar. His street name has found him in a tapas bar, where he was taken away by music a la „me gusta la bachta“. Since then his friends call him like that. Actually he only wanted to test Instagram and posted pictures of street art, but doing street art yourself is more fun he thought, and started with stickers, which was the initial ignition for the next phase, paste-ups and stencils. One of his characters is Clint Estwood, who is the ideal matter to absurd the law and order macho mentality of the 1970s.
