I don’t know anything about STRIPED GUYS. I suppose him to be based in Dortmund; he seems to have a comfort zone in Adlerstraße. The idea of making puppets with pipe cleaners is not new, but to place those puppets in context with the urban environment was new for me. When I saw one of those guys in the streets of Dortmund it reminded me of the STREET-YOGA puppets made by a street artist based in Berlin. Those guys are tiny and not easy to see in their habitat when you are fixed on pieces of art that are as high as a house.
