HoF Duisburg Meiderich – Unterführungsstraße in June

The last weekend was a blast! For decades, Traumzeitfestival at Landscape Park Duisburg North,  is firmly scheduled in my annual calendar of events. So for a change, my last weekend was dedicated to all of those artists who have played there. But of course, there is still HoF Unterführungsstraße, which  is located just a stone’s […]

Notes from a Berlin fried

In these days my Berlin friend is close to dispair. The hot temperatures make it difficult to break free from the shady garden, but in Berlin things are on the move; no good times to stay in the shadows!

HoF Zollstraße in June

Please don’t let me be misunderstood, I love that hall of fame at Essen’s north side, but I‘ m always a little bit scared visiting. Those old walls are due to be demolished and nobody knows exactly when they have to fall. But things reputed to be dead live longer and there is life in […]

5 days of Berlin – 5th day

This was Monday and as I had only made flying visits in Friedrichshain the days before, Friedrichshain took hold of me. This was my last day in Berlin before departure day and I headed again for Ostkreuz, after having a short look at the new piece of FINDAC at Bülowstraße. He had promised to finish […]

5 days of Berlin – 4th day

This was already Sunday and as in Germany most museums are closed on Mondays, it was long overdue for my date with Tristan. The plan was to meet my Berlin friend in the early afternoon, to walk along Dircksenstraße and visit Haus Schwarzenberg, to have a look at a number of new murals there. To […]
