MARIESTYLE is a german street artist who was born 1976 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, a small town in East Northrhine Westphalia. After school she spent some months in London, UK, broadening her knowledge of fashion and art history. Back in Germany she started applying at art colleges and art academies in Germany and studied German and English at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. In parallel she studied fine arts and painting at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as a student of Jörg Immendorff and Jan Dibbets. After a short career as a teacher at Erasmus-von-Rotterdam Gymnasium, she works since 2010 as an artist in the streets as well as in the studio. Her style is mainly influenced by fashion models, fashion photography, fashion illustration, graffiti and street art. [1]
