Hotel Lindner City Plaza hosts „Aérosol de cologne“

First of all: This is not a sponsored article, even if this might be hard to believe. But my enthusiasm is genuine and incidentally cannot be purchased. Cologne is proud of its more than 80 neighbourhoods, which are called „Veedel“ in colonian dialect. They all are unique and have their own identity and character. A […]

Take a Butcher’s Gallery starts „URBAN CREATURES“ – European group show with 4 artists from England, France, Switzerland and Austria

Yes indeed, I know this is unusual and late as well. But for those of you who are open for a vernissage on a Thursday, this may turn out to be an adventure. Take a Butcher’s Gallery shows a group show with: DMSTFF from England – Pasted, sprayed, sketched or drawn – whichever medium: Punk’s […]

Düsseldorf loves ARDIF et vice versa …

… I think that this conclusion is probably permissible. ARDIF, French street artist, has visited Düsseldof a few days ago on the occasion of the opening of his solo show „MACHINaturE vs MachiNATURE“. He took the chance and spread a number of new paste-ups all around and disappeared again in night and fog. Yesterday I have […]

Pretty Portal shows – ARDIF solo show „MACHINaturE vs MachiNATURE“

How do you measure the success of an exhibition? I would say that this question is easy to answer. The proportion of exhibited works and red dots, showing that the work is sold, tells enough. According to this, the newest exhibition opened at Pretty Portal on 22nd March, is the most successful exhibition ever. Düsseldorf […]

TURBO URBAN – The smallest but weirdest streetart festival in Germany comes for the next round

I would like to draw your attention to the upcoming TURBO URBAN group show „RAMPE“. Under the umbrella of „Nacht der Museen 2019“ a number of 35 artists, mostly based in North Rhine Westfalia, show on very small space their works, representing street art with all its facets and styles. Hotel Friends at  Worringer […]

Hot Rod Garage Wesel has got a new eyecatcher facade

Wesel is a small town in North-Rhine Westfalia on the northwest edge of the Ruhr area and really not known as a hotspot for graffiti and street art. Due to this it is not on the normal routes I frequently have under review. I have found this wall by means of a tip of a […]

Kiefernstraße – The rebellious spirit is still alive

Düsseldorf has two famous streets known far beyond the city limits. Königsallee, or better known as KÖ – downtown shopping mile and strolling promenade for the rich and pretty folks – and Kiefernstraße, the counterpart of everything the KÖ stands for.

Is the sum of the construction trailers at Kiefernstraße all the same over the years?

Looking at Kiefernstraße and the construction trailers there for several years, for me it begs the question: how many trailers are you looking at and is the number a constant, means are they always the same or do they change?
