3 more murals of Berlin Mural Fest 2019, located in Kreuzberg, were still pending. So that day Kreuzberg was on my agenda. Kreuzberg is easy, but – for matters of a street art hunter – hardly overseeable, in the face of all those street art spots and the masses of shutters, graffiti, installations, tiles, paste-ups […]
It’s out now: Berlin Mural Fest goes to the 2nd round. And it seems that the Dixons, who are the organizers, have learnt from the faults of last year. Today they have announced the locations of some of the walls and the identity of the artists, painting them. For those who are in Berlin a […]
Styro seems to have spent hybernation with crafting. Now, after reawakening from the winter sleep, he seems to be on his way, to set his creatures free, wherever he stands or goes. And my Berlin friend finds them, even if not looking for something special. Nobody stays home in this bright weather.

Kreuzberg – till the cow comes home My 2nd day in Berlin was a Saturday and I started early in the morning, as I was sure, that this would be a long day in Kreuzberg. I like to walk and see how the neighbourhood awakes. when the shutters are still closed, you have the chance […]
OK – I’am sorry but unfortunately I have to confess, that I hadn’t the time to finish preparing the post of my 2nd day of Berlin. How can I keep you patient and stay curious? An appetizer will do – hopefully.
Its not easy, to decide where Friedrichshain ends and Kreuzberg begins. To cross the line is nearly unremarkable and when you don’t know about, hardly to recognize. The shady arcades of Oberbaumbrücke with the views of Molecule Man and „The Pink Man“ of BLU, is some kind of no-mans’s-land and comes closest to a border. It escaped […]
In Berlin Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain I came across a number of stunning 3D installations, made of styrofoam. Those installations (styro-cuts) are rare, once installed, they are taken away soon, as they have many adorers.
