Organised by „Initiative Düsseldorfer Büdchentag“, the annual Büdchentag has been taking place in Düsseldorf since 2016. It stands for music, art and culture in the everyday space of the Büdchen (also called Newsagent or Kiosk elsewhere). Kiosks are important for quick shopping, but they are also neighbourhood meeting places for after-work beers and evening chats. Büdchenentag honours these small businesses on Saturday, 13 August, and invites residents and friends to pop in and have fun.
