The site where the former „Knauf Interfer Hall“ once stood is now home to North Rhine-Westphalia’s longest Hall of Fame. Graffiti artists can now express their creative ideas on the 600-metre-long wall that surrounds the area to the west. This Hall of Fame is one of the longest of its kind in NRW; a total of more than 80 works of art can be sprayed on at the same time.
In Dortmund next to Speicherstraße 100, on 9 April, a new Hall of Fame was unveiled. For me this date was a problem, as this was the weekend of Hafendampf, which is in Essen’s graffiti scene an absolute must go. So I headed for Dortmund’s harbour a few days later and had to learn by the results of my visit, that my camera has a fault. So I can show a few pictures only and have to apologise for the poor quality of my pictures. I have chosen those pictures which seem to be the best in quality.
