It’s out now: BMF – Berlin Mural Fest goes to the 3nd round. And it seems that the Dixons, who are the organizers of this festival, again have brought Deutsche Wohnen on board. Already in 2019, for Mural Fest No. 2, most of the walls were provided by Deutsche Wohnen, a real estate group with a massive image problem. The largest rental company in Berlin is in criticism because of the Group’s attacks on the Berlin rent index and because of tenants‘ complaints about the repeated failure of elevators and heating systems in entire apartment blocks.

The pandemic, like many other industries, has hit the artists in Berlin hard (#FUCKCORONA). For this reason this year’s Berlin Mural Fest supports the local artists of Berlin’s street art scene. The locations will be published in August, shortly before the start of the festival on August 9th. BMF will be finished on the 4th of September with the BMF Nightwalk.
