Freedom – thats the name of a public place next to Essen’s main station, which is venue of an art intervention of a special kind from 16.6. – 11.7.2021. In the very center of the city and directly above one of Germany;s busiest motorways, a (thank heaven) temporary place of rest was established. „Zur schönen Freiheit“ – Local residents, passers-by, curious, homeless and working people shall be ininvited to take seat and watch a sunrise or participate of the various artistic actions planned, like readings, concerts and performances. I hope the the organizers will supply earplugs and megaphones. The noise level is hellish at that spot.
