From the beginning of this year, Covid 19 and the pandemic disease has mixed up my plans for the upcomiing year. My Berlin trip in March was cacelled and I was extremely sad, when I found out that Hafendampf had fallen victim to Corona (#FUCKCORONA).
Anyway, even in times of Corona, or better – especially in tough times, artists are unstopable in their creativity. Who would have expected a new street art festival in Goch, a small town at the Lower Rhine? The organizer of Goch History Meets Streetart, Benjamin Taag, supported by the local heritage society, hosts a modern treasure hunt criss cross Goch from 29.8. to 12.9. Of course I was there to get an overview and it didn’t last long to get lost in all those alleys, lanes and cross connections. By the way: I have missed a lot the Ruhr Area street art scene on site. There is a lot of space to fill with art in Goch and all artists who like to play along are welcome to enrich the festival. Please contact.
