When I took the first pictures of the mural created by various local artists at the bycicle and pedestrian ramp, which connects parking lot P2 at Messe Essen with Rüttenscheider Straße, it was already old and it already had set moss. That was June 2014 and I was a newbie without a clue. It was untouched, except the moss and it took 6 more years to decide for a new styling.
