I’m pretty sure, all of you meet racism in various forms every day in Germany and worldwide. Racism is an all day problem, everywhere, but what happend to the 46-year-old black George Floyd last week in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after a white police officer pressed his knee to Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed face down on the ground, caused protests and grief worldwide. After Floyd’s death, demonstrations and protests against racism and police brutality were held globally and are still ongoing. [1] The shown pieces I have proudly found today in Essen. My one and only criticism still is: those letters are much too small!
