Anti-masking laws, prohibiting wearing facial concealment in public places, were discussed very controversially, but ban on face coverings is not in the headlines actually. Quite the contrary, everybody seems to be on the hunt for face masks, in the believe, that this device is an effective protection against viral attacks. In the circuits of graffiti writers, face masks are used for protection too. A lot of the protagonists of the graffiti scene are anxious to protect their privacy, for they often sail close to the wind. They use various techniques of masking, primarily for the purpose of identity protection. I have listed a number of examples, shot during the last years.
