Helbingbrücke is a bridge of highway A40, one of the the most frequented motorways in our Region. Locals usually call it Ruhrschleichweg (Ruhr Crawling Way) or „the Ruhr area’s longest parking lot“. Thousands of cars daily use the exit at Helbingstraße, which is a busy road all day long. Thousands of eyes pass the columns of Helbingbrücke every day. Who wonders, that the spot is a popular street art gallery. It was and is still used by different artists since many years. Three of the columns will be painted by SIGNS AND WONDERS in the next days.
In the course of the time I have shot a lot of pictures at Helbingbrücke. Let me show you around with some of my highlights.
