It always gives me a great pleasure to find new paste-ups in my hometown. Compared with Berlin, Essen is more a graffiti- than a street art area. We have a few spots with a touch of dirty corners, but even there the chance of survival for paste-ups is similar to the prospects of a snowball in hell. I always be thrilled as could be, finding paste-ups in Essen. Mostly I’m too late and they are in bad shape.
