Duisburg’s Halls of Fame

I have to confess that I’m not a big adorer of social media, but you cannot avoid them looking for information about what’s going on. As the street art and graffiti scene in Northrhine Westfalia is big and the scene in my region, the Ruhr area, is almost impossible to overlook, you are reliant at all times on social media sourced information. Most of the cities have at least one legal wall but often more. Bochum, as an example, has a lot of 25! I try to visit a number of spots in Essen, Dortmund and Düsseldorf frequently, but my time is limited and I’m forced to make a choice where to go next, again and again. Even though Duisburg is only 20 minutes away by urban train, I didn’t know very much about Duisburg’s halls of fame and the local graffiti scene, until last week. Then I got the information that Duisburg has 3 halls of fame and (very important!) where to find them and took my heels to take a look. All those halls are well connected to the tram and bus lines and so it was easy to take my pictures in no time.
