In the world of graffiti there is no place for standstill – and that is a good thing; the change is a constant factor in graffiti and street art. Nevertheless, I cannot say that it is easy, losing a beloved piece and to loose two pieces of GIGO PROPAGANDA at the same time is sad. But look what we have got as a consolation. A1ONE has donated two of his elaborate pieces downtown Essen at GeKu-Haus and at Viehofer Straße 38-52.

[…] The wall at GeKu Haus, situated at Kreuzeskirchstraße, in the heart of Creative Quarter North, is redesigned frequently, since I have discovered it in June 2014. In September 2019 MR.OREO had painted a portrait of Greta Thunberg, who is the face of „Fridays for Future“ movement, to support the protests for a better climate policy. Now „Machen ist wie wollen – nur krasser!“ (Doing is like wanting, only more blatant) by Matthias Scheidig aka MÖESTYLE has displaced the topic climate at that wall.
